Appreciation for securing funds received at the Vice Chancellor’s Awards Ceremony held on 01st January 2020

From the inception of the library to the present, books and monographs damaged due to various reasons were sent for recycling by the library with the labour contribution of the staff. It was able to contribute to the University, earning about Rs 200,000. Additionally, it allowed us to make the library a more attractive space by utilising a large area within the library premises.

The University of Kelaniya gratefully presented an award to the Librarian and the library staff under the category of ‘Appreciation for Significant Contribution’ for their outstanding service made to the 60th Anniversary of the University.
